Nexus Community Credit Union was the result of a merger between Northern Lights Credit Union and Thamesville Community Credit Union. Looking forward to a multi year strategy to merge with a group of other credit unions from smaller markets to strengthen their member base, CUBE was tasked with developing the overall brand and improving the image of this entity into one that was more polished and professional.

As a result of the success of their branding and increased visibility, members of Nexus Community Credit Union voted to approve a merger with Ottawa-based Alterna Savings & Credit Union Ltd. The two merged under a federated operating model in 2016.
